About Us

RS Motorwerks is the premier Porsche® and Mercedes Benz repair center in Atlanta! We are a family-owned and operated business serving Atlanta, Nelson, Roswell, and Norcross, as well as the Dunwoody, Sandy Springs and North Atlanta Metro areas. While our specialty is Porsche® and Mercedes Benz services, we also offer Audi tuning and BMW services.

Our lead Technician and Performance Specialist is John Herzler Jr. John graduated from Georgia State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He has been working on high-line European cars since 1994 and has been factory trained in German car repair since 1997.

John has spent significant time honing his skills at various premier dealerships and shops in the metro Atlanta area. John has earned a reputation among his peers for outstanding work with ethics beyond reproach.

John is joined by his father, John Sr. in the day to day operations of RS Motorwerks. After a corporate career spanning 35 years working with Fortune 1000 clients, Senior's focus is on customer service and sales. Additionally, senior is active with the Peachtree Chapter of the Mercedes-Benz Club. He is also a life-time member of the National Eagle Scout Association.

Despite our small size, we take pride in knowing that our shop is extremely well equipped, so much so that you should only see the dealer in the event of warranty work or recall.

Because most shops lack the tooling, training and experience to perform high-level repairs, most prefer to replace components rather than repair or rebuild them citing liability as the reason.

At RS Motorwerks, we work with what you give us so that we can keep the car original and the final bill within your budget. Our customers are our backbone. We do everything within our power to meet your German auto repair needs.

We have been selected to take part in the Bosch and Tire Rack Preferred Installer Programs.

For our high performance buffs we offer Tuning by RS Motorwerks, as well as Stratmosphere stainless steel exhaust systems. We also offer Evolution Motor Sports and GT Transmission upgrades for our Porsche® clients as well as Renntech performance upgrades for Mercedes.
